Congratulations to Faith Community Lutheran Church for their successful Groundbreaking ceremony Sunday, March 18, 2018. Over 300 guests arrived to the new campus’ location at Town Center Drive and Garden Park Street in Summerlin. The site was blessed with a program of prayers, words of gratitude and singing. Groups of key leaders officially broke ground with special shovels: Charter Members, Board of Directors, Ministry Leaders and FCLCS Children. DC Building Group’s Founder and CEO Shawn Danoski said, “The Lord has timing that is ultimately perfect. [FCL] is starting this project at the right time and leadership’s continued passion to membership to push forward… will bring a light to the community. We are thankful to be a part of this team, this community and this campus…” Shawn acknowledged the “heavy lifters” of DCBG’s Field Team: Ryan Plutchak (PM) & Jamie Dragovich (Superintendent). Key speakers on stage were Clark County’s Susan Brager, JVC Architects’ Jim Van Compernolle, DCBG’s Shawn Danoski, FCL’s Max Couvillier and Black & Lobello Attorneys at Law’s Tisha Black. Special recognition by FCL’s Pastor Craig Michaelson was given to Tom and Barb McDonald, Cal and Vicki Owens and John Molchon. Paul Brandt and Pastor Bob Sundquist also lead the group in opening and closing prayers. Goody offerings included magnets, snacks, play shovels & buckets and novelty construction hats.
