Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation is now under the same roof with The Caring Place. DC Building Group, a long-time contributor of the non-profit organization announces the completion of a new facility, at cost, combining NCCF and The Caring Place – the offices were previously in separate buildings. The new location on East Sunset Road, combines more than 45 pediatric and adult services. NCCF helps thousands of Southern Nevada residents annually by supporting families of children diagnosed with life threatening or critical illnesses. Not only did DC Building Group partner with Britney Spears (who raised over $1 million) and other charitable contractors to construct the beautiful, healing space for NCCF, but DCBG continually sponsors a variety of NCCF events from Camp Cartwheel and Adopt-A-Family to Trivia Night and Profiles of Courage Galas. The 15,578 square-foot building at 3711 E. Sunset Road broke ground on April 17 and opened its doors on July 17. Almany Architecture served as the architect of record. After some demolition, a new roof was installed along with many updates; new interior walls and infill windows where doors had existed. For a list of amazing NCCF services, go here.
