Cottonwood Station Eatery is now open in the Red Rock Conservation area. DC Building Group is proud to construct this new ground-up restaurant and partner with owners who re-purposed many materials to create a meaningful and heart-warming cafe. Longtime Blue Diamond residents Jody Lyman and Steve Enger saw the need for a community café for outdoor enthusiasts, visitors and diners. Hikers, climbers, bicyclists and eco-tourists can enjoy coffee, espresso, beer, wine, cider, pastries, salads, artisan pizzas, paninis, breakfast bites and more at the corner of Cottonwood Drive and Village Boulevard. The establishment, themed to compliment the Village of Blue Diamond as well as the scenic setting of Red Rock, captures the warmth of friendly camaraderie and the history of the area. The kitchen features a classic domed pizza oven, a smart-oven and classic espresso machinery. Patrons seated inside will be surrounded by many unique furnishings and handmade artwork; The vertical wooden wall (using reclaimed wood from the original blue garages), live-edge counter tops (created by local friends and owners of The Community Tool Chest), massive spring-coil based stools, refinished particle board table tops and more eclectic treasures. Outside, diners can sit by the fire pit, in the back of the antique pick-up truck’s flat bed or walk the al fresco hallway to view historical photos and antiquities. The interior areas are 1,800 sf and the patio is just over 1,000 sf. The space was designed to be accommodating and flowing, yet cozy. While parking of cars may be tight, there’s plenty of rack space for bikes at the base of the stairwell. The restaurant is 18 miles west of The Las Vegas Strip and is open daily 6 am – 8 pm, with Friday and Saturday nights remaining open until 10 pm. Owner Jody Lyman said, “We are excited to bring our service to this amazingly beautiful conservation area.” Contact Jody or Steve to book special occasion events or to attend themed meal parties: www.CottonwoodStationEatery.com
