Earlier this year the Stratosphere unveiled their new branding for the 1,149-foot tower, hotel and casino, “The STRAT.” As part of the ongoing transformation, our team partnered with Marshall Retail Group to complete two, new retail tenant improvements inside the hotel, casino and sky pod, Essentials and Exhilarate 108.
Essentials, located on the ground floor of the casino, offers guests a well-organized, logically designed space to meet any of their daily needs. Our team led the complete demolition of the existing space and remodel of the new store which included metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, furnishings, HVAC, electrical and all final finishes. With the retail store located in a high traffic area, our team worked efficiently to complete the project within an eight-week schedule.
The observation deck on floor 108 was also completely remodeled to speak to The STRAT’s new brand. To complete the refreshed space, Marshall Retail Group remodeled their existing gift shop with our team running point. Exhilarate 108 was completed on April 15 and provides shoppers with quite a view of the valley.
The 1,200 SF retail space presented a unique construction challenge. With tight constraints for loading and unloading materials 108 floors up, equipment and furnishings had to be broken down and all rebuilt onsite within a tight construction schedule. The completed space boasts bright and modern finishes and offers guests a fun atmosphere to shop and take in the Las Vegas skyline.
Visitors of The STRAT can also expect a new “Welcome to Las Vegas” store to be completed at the end of May.
