On Saturday, March 2, DC Building Group accepted a Project Honor Award at the 22nd Annual NAIOP Southern Nevada Spotlight Awards. Cottonwood Station Eatery took home the distinct honor in the Retail Building category, which featured a standalone retail building designed for a single tenant. Cottonwood Station was the first-of-its-kind retail building in the popular Red Rock Conservation area and the first new commercial construction in Blue Diamond, NV in decades. The out-of-state judges noted Cottonwood Station’s use of repurposed materials from the 1942 village workshop and the distinct design of the space to seamlessly integrate the Café into the community.
DC Building Group also received a Project Merit Award in the Retail Renovation category for Rampart Commons Phase I. A 24,300 square-foot tenant improvement project which included façade improvements and site work within one of Southern Nevada’s most affluent retail trade areas.
