Shawn Danoski, CEO of DC Building Group accepted two Spotlight Awards from NAIOP Southern Nevada. The 21st annual Spotlight Awards Ceremony was held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Nevada. DC Building Group’s T-Mobile Signature Store on The Strip project took home the trophy for the Retail Tenant Improvement category. The out-of-state judges remarked that they would have liked to visit this retail store in person to experience the insane details firsthand. DCBG’s three other project nominees, Naqvi Law, NCCF and ALA received Merit Recognition for being finalists in their respective categories: Office TI-Special Use, Large Office-TI and Public Use-School. Contending against seven other local GCs, DCBG won the General Contracting Firm of the Year award for 2018! This is an exciting feat because DCBG won this same industry category last year. Not only is this Spotlight trophy a remarkable back-to-back accomplishment, but it is the third GC award bestowed upon DCBG by NAIOPsn; DCBG is honored to be recognized by industry peers, winning GC of the Year in 2013, 2017 and 2018. Of special note is AIS winning the Large Office-TI category submitted by Encompass Studio Architecture as DCBG was the GC of record for this remodel. The event gathered over 600 NAIOP members and guests dressed in Italian Masquerade masks and attire. Congratulations to all finalists and winners.
